A quick FAQ:

Is this only for US residents?
Yep, sorry. Australian residents will be able to pick up this loot by coming along to one of Jay’s tour stops in May!

Does it matter where I pre-order?
Nope. Local indie, big chain, wherever you like. Just get a receipt.

What if I pre-order the audiobook or e-book?
That works too. Thanks!

What the flaming hells is this book about?
Check the blurb here.

Has anyone ever told you that you look like Dave Grohl?

So that’s three books you’re bringing out this year? Do you ever sleep?
Jay actually sleeps all day. In reality, his books are written by Jays stolen from an alternate reality. “Real” Jay keeps us locked in his basement, somebody please call the police . . . oh god, HE’S COMING DOWN THE STAIRS, HEL—

DARKDAWN cover reveal

Droogs! The US cover for DARKDAWN is live!

I’ve been very lucky to work an amazing artist in Jason Chan for 6 of my book covers – I’ve been a huge fan of his since he started working in Magic: The Gathering. And even biased as I am, I can honestly say that not only is DARKDAWN the best piece he’s ever done for me, but it’s also one of the best things he’s EVER done.

The stunning typography was once again done by the amazing Meg Morley of Cuddlebuggery fame, who also does type on the interiors.

Check out the awesome here.

LIFEL1K3 cover reveal!

Mobile phones off, please.

This is the day, this is the hour! Finally, I get to reveal the US cover for LIFEL1K3, my new YA Fury Road/X-Men/Romeo & Juliet/Bladerunner . . .  thing. LOOK, IT’S A WEIRD YET AWESOME BOOK, OKAY?

As always, I’ll be giving away some shiny loots, but first!

The jacket copy:

On an island junkyard beneath a cigarette sky, a deadly secret lies buried in the scrap.

Seventeen-year-old Eve isn’t looking for secrets; she’s already too busy looking over her shoulder. The robot gladiator she spent months building is a smoking wreck, and the only thing keeping her grandpa alive was the handful of credits she just lost to the bookies. Worst of all, she’s discovered she can destroy machines with nothing more than her mind, and a bunch of puritanical fanatics are building a coffin her size. If she’s ever had a worse day, Eve can’t remember it.

But when Eve discovers the ruins of a beautiful android boy named Ezekiel buried in the scrap pile she calls home, her entire world is turned upside down. With her best friend and her robotic sidekick in tow, she and Ezekiel will trek across deserts of irradiated glass, battle cyborg assassins, and scour abandoned megacities to save the ones Eve loves . . . and learn the dark secrets of her past.

Even if those secrets were better off staying buried.
