EMPIRE OF THE VAMPIRE UK /AUS COVER giveaway

Hellooooo droogs!

The journey was long and drenched with the blood of fluffy kittens and holy men, but the UK/Aus EotV cover is now live! Or at least undead.

Since I had very little to do with creating it, I can sincerely say it’s the coolest goddamn book cover I’ve ever seen. Huge thanks to Micaela Alcaino for the amazing graphic design, and of course, the mighty Kerby Rosanes for his incredible illustration skillz.

In celebration of impending night eternal, I have three EMPIRE OF THE VAMPIRE ARCs to give away! If you’d like the chance to beat a burglar to death with one (it’s a big book), read on.

YES, THE ENTIRE GODDAMN THING.

THIS CONTEST IS OPEN INTERNATIONALLY. BRITONS. NORWEGIANS. AMERICANS. UNJUSTLY IMPRISONED RESIDENTS OF THE PHANTOM ZONE. VERILY, I CARE NOT.

Each of you will be given two chances to enter. Yes, this means you can enter twice. Indeed, thou art encouraged to do so.

In order to enter:

  1. Tweet about the cover reveal. You must include a link to this site and the hashtag #eotv (so I can find it). Other than that, do what thou wilt. If your tweet is cool or creative, I’ll mark you down for extra entries. If you wanna just ride the train to slackertown, here’s a sample tweet:

The EMPIRE OF THE VAMPIRE cover is live, and I have died from the awesome. Avenge my death and win an ARC here:

  2. Post the cover artwork onto your instagram, twitter or facebook feed. You must include the hashtag #eotv (otherwise I won’t see it)

That’s it. Two ways to enter. Enter twice, double your chances of winning. Simple, nay?

This contest closes on January 31.

And now, the cover!

From holy cup comes holy light;
The faithful hands sets world aright.
And in the Seven Martyrs’ sight,
Mere man shall end this endless night.

It has been twenty-seven long years since the last sunrise. For nearly three decades, vampires have waged war against humanity; building their eternal empire even as they tear down our own. Now, only a few tiny sparks of light endure in a sea of darkness.

Gabriel de León is a silversaint: a member of a holy brotherhood dedicated to defending realm and church from the creatures of the night. But even the Silver Order couldn’t stem the tide once daylight failed us, and now, only Gabriel remains.

Imprisoned by the very monsters he vowed to destroy, the last silversaint is forced to tell his story. A story of legendary battles and forbidden love, of faith lost and friendships won, of the Wars of the Blood and the Forever King and the quest for humanity’s last remaining hope:

The Holy Grail.

From the New York Times bestselling author of the Nevernight Chronicle, Jay Kristoff, comes the first illustrated volume of an astonishing new dark fantasy saga.

Behold thy cover, in all it’s drool-worthy glory:

Do not simply love me, mortal.
Adore me.

Preorders are now open from all UK retailers! You may have also heard that Waterstones are doing a special edition with black sprayed edges. Each copy will also be signed by yours truly:

So black.
SOOOOO BLAAAACK

The last bunch sold out in a matter of hours, so get on them quick. You can preorder here while stocks last.

More special editions, illustrator reveal and a bunch more exciting EotV news coming soon!

MEANTIME, GO FORTH. DRINK BLOOD. WEAR BLACK.
