David Gemmell Legend Award

Beautiful people!

The next round of voting for the David Gemmell awards is now open. For those of you who missed the news, STORMDANCER and yours truly are shortlisted in every category, thanks in no small part to YOUR votes. And when i say “no small part” I basically mean thanks entirely to your votes.

Your votes, they have melted my heart. They are like gleaming phasers of love set to “warm fuzzies” aimed right at my gutty-wuts.

But if you’d like to help me win the thing (thus allowing me to dance around Joe Abercrombie and Mark Lawrence, taunting and jeering until my throat is sore), here’s where you make the clickies:

Best Fantasy Novel.

Best Debut Novel.

Best Cover.

Apparently, the grand prize is a huge fuck-off axe (named Snaga). I’m not sure what i’d do with a huge fuck-off axe. But I’m certain I’d find a use for it. Maybe cutting off the joymeats of the postman who keeps crushing my mail into my letterbox like he was playing wastepaper basketball. Or perhaps sitting on the couch  in my underwear and demanding my mead in a booming, mostly unconvincing accent.

In all seriousness, thanks to all the folks who voted SD and i onto the shortlist. To see my little book on a list with authors of this caliber is something I never imagined when I started down this road. Your love for this book is nothing short of amazing, and I’m truly humbled. Thank you so much! ❤

In other news, KINSLAYER hits shelves in a month! Shiiiiiiiiiii….
